An incredibly easy way to send files from Android to PC or PC to Android is by FTP. All you need is an FTP program like FileZilla and an android app called ES File Explorer. Both are free and can do the transfer at no cost.
Once both are downloaded and installed on their respective devices continue below.
Open ES File Explorer and press on the menu. Scroll down until the section titled Network is visible and press on Remote Manager.
Press on settings and press on Set root directory. Press the <- button and depending on if you have SD card capability choose the proper storage option where the data is saved. Press OK. Go back so you are back to the Remote Manager. Press Turn On.
Now an FTP address is displayed. Open FileZilla on your computer.
Enter the FTP address and port into FileZilla then click on Quickconnect.
Now a list of folders will be displayed in the right side of FileZilla.
Now you can copy files between devices. Once completed exit FileZilla. On your Android device open ES File Manager and press Turn Off to close the connection.
Note: FileZilla is not required. Any FTP program will work but the steps will be slightly different.
